4 new Android smartphones from Samsung

On the eve of the international exhibition of the mobile, which will take place in Barcelona in February, the manufacturer Samsung announces four new Galaxy family of devices running the Android system. The Samsung Galaxy Ace, Fit, Gio and Mini will run on Froyo (Android 2.2).

The Samsung Galaxy Ace has a 3.5 inch screen for a definition of 320×480. It integrates a 800MHz clocked chip and a 5 megapixel camera coupled with a flash. The Galaxy Fit has a slab of 3.31 inches (240×320). It features the same no flash camera and includes a processor running at 600 Mhz. Gio offers a 320×480 resolution on a 3.2 inch screen. The terminal is powered by a 800MHz processor. Its optics is 3 megapixels. Finally, as the name suggests, the Galaxy mini displays a smaller 3.14-inch screen (320×240) with a 600 MHz processor and a 3-megapixel camera.

These four models also include

a chip A-GPS

a battery of 1350 mAh, with the exception of mini (1200 mAh)

a micro-SD card reader

an accelerometer

a proximity sensor

digital compass

HSDPA connections, EDGE, Bluetooth, USB 2.0 and Wi-Fi

the TouchWIZ interface

a 3.5mm headphone jack

and the proposed standard applications including Google Voice Search.

Available now in Russia, these four smartphones will then be launched in Europe and presented at the Mobile World Congress
