According to initial estimates, Samsung, leader in the smartphone market, would have made a full house with his Galaxy SIII.
Earlier this week, the website Les Echos reported some provisional figures of JP Morgan analyst firm. In the second quarter of 2012, the Korean manufacturer has sold about 50 million smartphones, all models of the low-end to high end. In the first three months of the year the company had sold 10 million. Only targeted at high-end Apple would have passed 30 million.
6.5 million copies, is the figure put forward by analysts on sales of Galaxy SIII in the second quarter. To recap, the spearhead of Android devices is available in France since the end of May. 15 million new units expected to be sold between July and September.
Samsung this period would have made an operating profit of $ 5.9 billion and, according to an officer, would show revenue growth “of 40% to 60%” to reach $ 41 billion.
