Just weeks after the commercialization of its Optimus G, LG has finalized a much more upscale version yet, the Optimus G Pro.
We already talked about it two weeks ago (see LG Optimus G Pro smartphone another Full HD 5-inch (upd)), the Mobile World Congress (25-28 February) should be an opportunity for LG to present new flagship of its Optimus range, namely the Optimus G Pro. While different sites relaying information about the design or specifications of the device, PhoneArena today unveils a photo.
Side features of the device, LG Optimus will offer a 5-inch screen with a resolution of Full HD (1920 x 1080 pixels) resolution for an impressive record of 440 pixels per inch. The SoC present on this new smartphone remains close to that available to the Optimus G, since going on a Snapdragon S4 Pro with 4 cores at 1.5 GHz at a slightly faster one model, operating at 1.7 GHz . Similarly, we find the same amount of RAM (2 GB) or an equivalent storage capacity, ie 32GB.
The connectivity of the Pro version of the Optimus G is identical to that of its cousin: 4G LTE, Wi-Fi N, Bluetooth 4.0, NFC and GPS. APN side, there is the 13-megapixel sensor launched by the Optimus G. The battery finally has a capacity of 3000 mAh.
The Optimus G Pro thus appears as a serious rival to the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S4 and Sony Xperia Z, with whom he shares many commonalities. The question is which will stand out, not its small details, but above the asking price, which we know nothing for the moment.
